A very exciting opportunity arose recently which involved flying to Thailand and working with the wonderful team at Explorar Hotels & Resorts.
The brief was simple: to help update the Koh Samui Resorts visual asset library with architectural, lifestyle and aerial photography. Our 4 night stay gave us ample time to capture the essence of this modern resort, whilst also allowing me to live up to my role as an architecture photographer by imaging the rooms and communal areas.
Although the weather was absolutely beautiful, it did leave for some challenges along the way. The main being the harsh contrast between highlights and shadows throughout the majority of the day. Yet one can't complain by the incredible sunset colours we were fortunate enough to experience each night.
We would like to thank the entire team at Explorar Koh Samui. It was the perfect collaboration and we can't wait to return in the near future! But until then, enjoy some of my favourite snaps from this project.
